Humanity has succeeded in making weapons that are ever more destructive. It seems to be looking for the ultimate weapon. A weapon that can wipe out all life here on Earth.

Is this a characteristic of an advanced civilization? It is definitely not.

Advanced it would be by starting to dismantle the huge money-guzzling arsenal of weapons and by replacing it with constructive dialogue.

True art

Why is war still called an art? Why not make dialogue an art? To us war is barbaric. Dialogue a true art.

Why are there still so many conflicts and wars? Often because the parties involved do not understand that an open mind and a willingness to reach peace are part of the process. And because still too many people see war as a money-generating machine with human casualties as “collateral damage”.

War to many still seems to be the necessary fuel. Why not make war outdated and use the resources spent on it on noble causes, like green energy and poverty reduction?

That indeed would take civilization to a higher level. It would benefit all.
