Religions are invited to set up Pax Fides as a forum to discuss how to stimulate interfaith cooperation. Human values should be the common ground to build cooperation on.
The core message of Danellandia goes back in time. It is a message about humanity and faith. Two elements that have been present in many aspects of our lives for a very long time. The meaning of these words seems to have been forgotten.
Religions are requested to sign this Declaration of Peace and to pledge they will work together to strengthen human values and thus peace.
Why is there so much violence in this world? Why do so many people suffer? Cannot "Peace and Love" put a stop to all that violence and suffering? [We define God as MPTA or Majai or Higher Intelligence or the “Undefinable of Peace, Love and Happiness”]
Pax Fides wants to be a forum where religious leaders and other people can discuss ways to bring religions closer together on the basis of strong common human values.
Mahaivi, the new symbol of Life. It shows the various elements that make up Life. The circle stands for Earth and Nature. The larger heart stands for Love. The smaller one for humanity or the sum total of human values. The two pigeons represent Peace.
This story of a mother and her three sons shows us that the love of a mother crosses all borders. She loves her sons equally well, though they are different. God can be loved in many different ways and by many different types of people as long as the love is honest and sincere.
Pax Fides aims at a better understanding between the various religions based on the joint promotion of human values. These values are the foundation of a cooperation to foster peace.
Different socio-economic and political systems compete with each other. Often influenced by religious ideas and rules. Pax Humanitas wants to create a forum to try and bring the different systems closer together with less conflicts. All based on strong human values.
Many people today feel lost in the kind of society they live in. They often lack direction and are confused by the “role models” society imposes on them. Strong human values could offer them a beacon for life. Human values to build the world of Peace on. Human values to share and to boost mutual understanding.
Many people that claim they belong to a particular religion, often have little or no real faith in what God stands for: peace, love, respect, honesty... If they understood that faith is the belief in innate goodness, they would understand that violence is in contradiction with what God stands for.
Anybody can help Danellandia's Peace Initiative by sharing its messages and articles with as many friends and other contacts as possible. Human values should be the basis of a peace drive at all levels. And also be the common ground on which the understanding between religions can be enhanced.
