Blaming others

Blaming others

When things go wrong, it is easy to blame foreign countries, foreigners, people belonging to a different social, cultural or religious group… Why do people not look more at themselves or at their own group? Why not try and find common ground to work together and to build a future that is better, more just and fair for everybody? Blaming others is easier than looking in one’s own heart.
Business without a future

Business without a future

Some leaders seem to think that as long as it is good for business, it is good for everything. Even when it damages people and Nature. A sustainable future needs leaders with a vision (to respect people and Nature), not leaders with money (to mislead people and buy votes).
Conservative

Conservative

What do conservatives want to conserve? A system that damages the mental and physical health of people and seriously pollutes air, water and soil? If it is conserved, in the end nothing else will be left. This world needs a new system based on solid human values.
Core business

Core business

When politics are mainly a game about seats and votes, while the common good and common human values are relegated, then politics are seriously ill and a danger to society. Healthy politics have humanity as their core business.
De facto dictatorship

De facto dictatorship

The growing discontent of so many people in so many countries over politics and economic and social circumstances, is exploited by demagogues of all sorts. The whole political, economic and social system is indeed to be reformed or replaced. Not by a (de facto) dictatorship, but by summonism aimed at maximally respecting all people and Nature.
False promises

False promises

Making promises you cannot keep, is a common practice in many election campaigns. Some politicians seem to be very good at it. Many know they will not be able to keep the promises, but still go on making them. Is winning the elections with such promises and then backtracking on them, not playing false? Politics clearly need a code of conduct so as to make sure promises respect basic human values, like honesty, truthfulness and
Free abuse economy

Free abuse economy

The free market economy seems to be more of a free abuse economy, where a minority abuses the large majority through market manipulation, monopolies, commercial exploitation, misleading marketing, fraud, corruption, selfish lobbying, astronomic bonuses and fees, tax evasion, theft… This kind of economy also gravely abuses Nature. All the talk about a sustainable future is useless, unless the free abuse economy is replaced forever!
Fundamentally

Fundamentally

Politicians often differ so much so as to cause tensions, conflicts and even violence in society. If they focused more on human values instead of on finance and power, society would be more balanced. In the end, everyone would fundamentally be better off.
Greatest, really?

Greatest, really?

What is the use of being the greatest? Besides, it all depends on the criteria and on the judges. You can only be great when you respect basic human values. Not doing so causes conflict and harm that actually also damage you as well – even when you are the “greatest”. This world and all countries need to work together to foster human values everywhere, so we can have a great world we can all
Growing down

Growing down

Life should be growing up to become a human being excelling at human values like honesty, integrity, respect for people and for Nature… When looking at some politicians, they seem to be growing down. Growing in the wrong direction.
Humility and leadership

Humility and leadership

Humility makes great leaders. They lead and don’t mislead us.
Law and disorder

Law and disorder

Most constitutions state that all people are equal before the law. Yet, reality proves to be quite different. The law has often been twisted by those that have the power and the money to make sure that some people get preferential treatment or privileges – frequently at the expense of others. Clearly the law is up for revision to put the house and society in order. Inequalities are an obstacle to real civilization.
