Letter to God

Dear God (or whatever the name You have),

Seeing so much violence, crime, poverty, misery and other suffering… 

Seeing so many innocent and nice children, women and men being the victims of it all…

We think it is only natural to have doubts about whether You exist.

We cannot see any connection between the violence and You.

So, we beg You to act now in whatever way you possibly can.

To show to the whole world and especially to those committing the violence, that they are wrong and led astray.

That they may have a religion, but that they are not faithful to You.

Not faithful to what You stand for: love, peace, respect, honesty…

To show to the whole world and especially to those indirectly or directly contributing to the violence, that they need to do something or more about the real causes and reasons behind it all.

To show all of them that the only way to reach You is by trying to be and do what You stand for.

Let Peace be our guide.
Let Love be our inspiration.
Let Humanity be our mission.

Please end all violence and suffering on this planet of increasing madness and confusion. Please act.

We have had enough of all this violence, madness and confusion.
