Pax Fides Day – invitation
On 7 July, 2007 a Day of Peace was organized.
Attention was focused on human values like solidarity, honesty and justice.
We hope similar days will be organized in the future.

Dear friend of Peace,
We would like to invite you to take part in
7.7.7. – PAX FIDES – global day of peace against violence
It is to be held world-wide on Saturday, July 7, 2007. It includes demonstrations for peace and non-violence in the squares of capitals and other cities of all countries from 14:00.
It will be preceded by media attention on a penetrating anatomy of peace and violence. Peace to us is the respect of human values, like justice, liberty, equality, non-violence, respect for man and woman, respect for Nature, fair trade, pluralism, tolerance, charity, truthfulness, forgiveness, privacy, friendship, openness, honesty, trust and solidarity.
7.7.7. PAX FIDES DAY and the whole campaign is to give a clear sign to all those perpetrating violence: wars, conflict, terror and terrorism, abuse, criminality, deliberate Nature degradation, social and economic exploitation, greed, hatred…
If you want to support PAX FIDES DAY on 7.7.7. convince friends and family to join you. Ask your political and religious leaders to support the initiative (you can use the model letters on this site). Ask your mayor to co-ordinate 7.7.7.
And most of all be there to honour PEACE.
As a token of friendship and peace, you could exchange a flower (any flower) on that day with a fellow human being.
PEACE counts on you. You can count on PEACE.
7.7.7. Let it be the start of a new era. An era of PEACE.
