World upside down – war and dialogue
Billions are still invested in new weapons that are even more lethal than before. Why not invest more in war prevention and conflict resolution?
Worthless gold
Gold and other so-called precious metals are more worthless when extracted through the manipulation, deception or liquidation of innocent people.
Wrong business
Business ethics now seem as polluted as the air they help to produce. Short-term profits, power, glamour and prestige are more important than respecting the needs of Humanity and Nature. These ethics prevent permanent disaster from being avoided.
You can help
Try to take human values as your daily guideline too and let these values provide you with a (more) stable basis to build your life on in this excessively materialistic, hectic and superficial world. Promote these values.
You can save me
I have not been feeling well for quite a while. I can hardly get any rest. I worry too much. I feel too much pain. When I look around me, I can see so much violence. Not only physical, but also mental. Not only towards people, but also towards Nature.
You’re OK
Sometimes it is hard to feel OK. People often feel sad or dissatisfied. Dissatisfied with themselves. Dissatisfied with the way their life is going. Many people blame themselves for not having the life they wanted. For not seeming to correspond with what others or society expect of them. But do the latter expect the right things? What are their expectations based on?
Your story
Love can hit you at any moment. It can hit you best when you are at peace with yourself, your fellow human beings and Nature. Total peace is the best environment for love and for friendship.
