Capitalism

What is money when it is used to hurt people or Nature?

A tool of destruction in the hands of a less-developed being.

People with a high human value equivalent – or HVE – use it for constructive purposes.

Dolphin or vulture

I would rather be a dolphin than a vulture.
Too many people feed on others.
Too many build riches on the poverty of others.
Too many people live off others.
Too much money is taken from others.
Too many people are greedy and selfish
to the point of damaging and abusing others.
Too many people are like vultures.
They feed on prey that is defenceless.
Too many people exhaust us and abuse their power.
Too many people are heartless and without love.
I would rather be a dolphin.
A dolphin with a heart.
A heart that never dies.
A heart for eternity.
A vulture is earthly.
A dolphin divine.

Capitalism too hard

Capitalism is becoming increasingly hard for ever more people.

Promises to reduce poverty and injustice world-wide are far from being kept.

It is time to change capitalism.

Visit Danellandia regularly and let it inspire you to find ways to really change the capitalist system and to strengthen peace in this world.

Posters to inspire

Biggest profits ever

Biggest profits ever

Companies like to boast about their biggest profits ever. Peace wonders how these profits were made. Did the companies respect their employees and clients? Did they respect their suppliers and Nature? Did they not resort to market manipulation, consumer exploitation, selfish lobbying and other stratagems? Big profits often have a low human value equivalent.
Billionaires

Billionaires

The press reports on parties for billionaires in fiscal paradises. Lots of extravagantly expensive luxury... Would it not be more interesting and less superficial to report on how the billionaires became billionaires? Did they not commercially exploit people? Did they not damage Nature? Did they not manipulate politics? Did they earn their money in an honest way?
Blaming others

Blaming others

When things go wrong, it is easy to blame foreign countries, foreigners, people belonging to a different social, cultural or religious group… Why do people not look more at themselves or at their own group? Why not try and find common ground to work together and to build a future that is better, more just and fair for everybody? Blaming others is easier than looking in one’s own heart.
Born friends - made enemies

Born friends – made enemies

All babies are born friends. They do not care about money, race, religion or the colour of their skin. They want to live in peace. Why do politics, economics and religions make many of them into enemies of one another? Why do they make such a mess of it all? Because they lack human values or peace!
Brexit - exit to what?

Brexit – exit to what?

The UK has decided to leave the European Union. Some leaders are jubilant and ecstatic about it. Yet, they should not because we all need a future of international co-operation and dialogue to build a world of stability and peace. Then we can all be jubilant and ecstatic and enjoy a life of less worries and more quality.
Broken dignity

Broken dignity

"Money makes the world go round". Not really, as it badly affects the health of people. It causes serious damage to the integrity of ever more people. Money even makes them sell their dignity.
Building bridges

Building bridges

Common human values are the best foundation for a strong bridge built by all nations and leading everybody to a sustainable, green and healthy future. Selfishness, lobbying, stubborn party politics, greed, (commercial) exploitation… stand in the way of these values and jeopardize everybody’s future.
Business without a future

Business without a future

Some leaders seem to think that as long as it is good for business, it is good for everything. Even when it damages people and Nature. A sustainable future needs leaders with a vision (to respect people and Nature), not leaders with money (to mislead people and buy votes).
Cannibalism today

Cannibalism today

Scientists found evidence of cannibalism at a 7000-year old archeological site. They need not have looked so distantly. Cannibalism is still very much present today. Capitalism often feeds on the exploitation and misery of defenceless human beings. It acts as a predator on Nature. Cannibalism that is.
Capitalism undemocratic

Capitalism undemocratic

Capitalism could be OK in a system that is democratic. Democratic meaning that human values are respected and that people and Nature are not treated as mere commodities in a system allowing huge inequalities, abuse, exploitation and other injustices. Capitalism needs to be reformed or replaced with summonism - based on strong human values.
Capitalist monster

Capitalist monster

Capitalism might have worked. Yet, unbridled greed and poor ethical standards have led to a limited group or elite taking sky-high profits and salaries, astronomic dividends and bonuses and what-not from the rest of the population. If this kind of voracious monstrosity is not halted and replaced by a system based on honesty and justice, capitalism will devour everything - including the elite now perpetuating a system of growing inequalities and social injustice.
Champion of humanity

Champion of humanity

When politics become so confusing that even politicians cannot figure out what it is all about, how can voters be expected to choose the right leaders? Why not simplify life for politicians and for voters and make politics the champion of humanity?
