DANELLANDIA: OVERVIEW
Creeds
We often believe in things that are really only important for those having invented them, because they gain power or money from them. Yet, these things impact our way of thinking about others and about society. Quite often affecting our health and well-being.
Targets
Too little is done to combat negative forces in our world. Moreover, many laws are “illegal” as they do not respect basic human values. They often favour one group to the detriment of many others and they neglect the common good or summum bonum. Time to reconsider or humanize these laws.
Projects
A selection of projects to boost Peace as the respect for universal human values. The respect for people and the respect for Nature are prime values to be upheld across the board and planet Earth.
Summonism
A new economic and political system based on human values. Communism has shown blatant abuses of human values. Capitalism has shown to be untenable as well, because it often violates human values. It creates a gaping and intolerable gap between the rich and the poor. Riches often based on exploitation, manipulation and other abuses.
Naturonomy
Nature is our essential partner. Yet, so very often maltreated! The result: many problems that could be avoided. Problems affecting the whole of Humanity and putting the entire planet Earth at risk.
USE
United for the Survival of Earth. To survive, Humanity will need more than dead letter agreements, often called historical but in the end not changing anything substantial. Some can be called historical because they later proved to be disastrous. Fossil fuels are suffocating this world and need to be phased out soonest. All countries should join USE or United for the Survival of Earth.
Circle of Peace
Use this circle to try and solve problems. The lack of respect for human values is often the reason behind conflicts. People causing the problems are often not having the right values. That can be due to their beliefs and the way they were educated.
Songs
Songs with a special meaning in Danellandia. As if they have been written with Danellandia in mind.
Letters to friends
Discussing human values and ways to strengthen them, can boost friendship or lead to new friendships. Human values crossing the borders of countries, races, religions… Discussing human values can give discussions more meaning and increase mutual understanding and cooperation.
Building the New World
Yes! You can help to make it happen! Yes! You can help to make this world a better and more just place for all! Please boost peace and human values by promoting our site and by sending on our messages to all of your contacts and to political and religious leaders, as well as business leaders.
Model letter
The lack of respect for the basic values and for the essence of all life is generating overwhelming problems, like wars, poverty, violence, degradation of Nature… Danellandia wants to make people think about themselves and their relationship with other people and with Nature.
Letter to United Nations
Basic values should be the foundation of a global campaign for peace and justice. Nature should be protected better and people respected more. The present political and economic system focusing overwhelmingly on money causes too many problems.
ABOUT
Danellandia – Pax 21 was created on 28 March, 2004. It is based on discussions about this world and its many problems with people from different backgrounds, countries, religions and age.
Danellandia defined 25 human values as the basis for its campaign to make this world a better and more just place in many fields of human activities: politics, economics, the media, personal relationships, education, Nature care…
