SWEET DIAMONDS: OVERVIEW A – Z

Respect

Respect

Respect starts by respecting yourself. Respect for other people means accepting their differences. We would not want everyone to be the same. Respect is accepting that not everything nor everyone is perfect.
Rules

Rules

Rules are fine if they are constructive. If they limit a person’s capacity to develop into an honest and caring human being they should be questioned. They should be rethought to strengthen and foster humanity or human values.
Seeing clearly

Seeing clearly

One morning I woke up. Somewhere I had never been before. The Sun was shining brightly inviting me to have a walk in the forest all around me. The air was fresh and energizing. The smells of plants soothing. The sounds of animals like music. I felt so good and full of happiness. It looked like a new world.
Sharing is caring

Sharing is caring

In the West a present of 50 euros can make a child happy for some time. In less developed countries 50 euros can make a child happy for a long time. Even for a lifetime. In those countries children often don’t have enough to eat. They can’t go to school or don’t have access to basic medical care.
Smiles

Smiles

A smile can be disarming and make our hearts melt away. Think of the impact of the first smiles of a baby or the smiles of a child. Children are spontaneous and not – normally – burdened yet by problems or worries. Why make our lives so complicated?
Softness

Softness

In today’s hard world it is easy to be considered too soft. As if being soft were a defect. As if being soft were negative. Why is softness seen as weakness? Peace is soft, but is it weakness? Being hard seems to be promoted in many ways from a tender age on.
Solidarity

Solidarity

Today, many of our leaders are drowning in a mass of problems. The world has become incredibly complicated. Most of the problems are man-made though. A lot of time, money and energy go into problem-solving. The very problem is most of our leaders do not see the forest for the trees anymore.
Spotted apple

Spotted apple

Not everyone or everything is perfect. We are made to be obsessed with perfection. People are supposed to be perfect. Vegetables, fruit, plants and animals too. The media seem to adore perfection. Don’t just look at the outside. Appearances are often misleading. An apple looking perfect might have a bad taste. A spotted one can have a fine taste.
Sweet and tender

Sweet and tender

This evening I was waiting at the traffic lights. The sunset was extremely colourful and nice. A car stopped next to me to wait too. In the backseat of the car there was a child, about 2 years old with blond curly hair. I smiled at the child and he smiled back. Spontaneously a broad happy smile appeared. I smiled again and he started to wave his hand. He smiled and waved his hand. Spontaneously and quite long. I waved my hand too and the child… He put his hand to his mouth and blew me a kiss.
Tears

Tears

Tears are part of the language of our heart. The language of our heart is called peace and love. It is a universal language. Anybody wherever can understand and speak it. It is a natural language. We have it in us from birth. Tears express our emotions. They express happiness and sadness. Tears purify our heart. They make it lighter.
Television

Television

People are often mixed up. They do not know what is reality and what is not. They think that what is on television, is reality. They mix up facts and fiction. Why?
The beech tree

The beech tree

I’m one of the trees in a big garden. Trees do not talk? They do, but Man does not understand our language of sounds and smells anymore. I have been here for many decades. I have seen many generations of children come to play in and around me. I like their playing and happiness. I used to be a tree everyone adored. Wide branches and thick dark red leaves.
